Maintenance Operative - Bupa Care Homes 8.21 p/h excellent benefits Dene Place Care Home - Leatherhead About the role You will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of routine building, maintenance and repair jobs, with minimum disruption to the care home Your key duties will include checking electrical items brought into the home by our residents, oversee heating systems, fire alarm checks, refrigeration and general electrics You will be accountable for compliance with the Health and Safety At Work Act, COSHH, service contract and inspections Occasionally, you will be required to respond to off duty emergencies within the home In our larger homes you will supervise the Maintenance Assistants Who we're looking for Friendly and approachable, you will have previous experience of working in a maintenance role. You will understand the importance of keeping high standards in and around the home, ensuring our residents enjoy a safe, pleasant and comfortable environment. What's in it for you? It's part of the Hatchlands Estate, the family home of Admiral Boscawen.
