The main goal of this role is to identify and secure new business within our Parts Division. As a Sales Development Manager, you will: + Achieve sales targets and develop new business across the UK (circa 1 night per week travel) + Liaise with the internal new business department to develop a qualified list of prospect accounts + Attend new business appointments face-to-face, with a focus on closing new business + Prepare parts quotations for new / existing customers + Account management (circa 30%) + Growing annual revenue year on year + Put together monthly promotional campaigns and construct effective marketing strategies to take these to market + Ensuring regular customer contact (both face-to-face & over the phone / email) + Prepare periodic reports charting customer progress and highlighting new business + Ensure customer satisfaction is met and provide a consultative solution to all of Carrier's customers To be successful in this role you will: + Ideally have experience in selling HVAC / Temperature Control solutions / parts + Have experience in selling a technical sales solution into a competitive marketplace + Be strategy focused, have a consultative manner and be highly credible + Be tenacious with a desire to secure new business + Have a proven background in achieving sales / revenue targets + Demonstrate strong communication skills What can we offer you? + Competitive Basic Salary + OTE's + Company Car (including Fuel Card) or if you already have your own vehicle we'll offer a monthly car allowance + Mobile Phone + Laptop + 25 Days Holiday (with the option to buy additional days) + Statutory Holidays + Company Pension + Fully funded study + An experienced, dynamic and highly skilled leadership team + Comprehensive industry / sales training + Career progression - we love to build an nurture talent from within, therefore we'll work with you to achieve your career aspirations More about us: Carrier is the world's leader in high-technology heating, air-conditioning and refrigeration solutions.
