Job Description
We are working with our client to identify a Project Manager to work on projects in Central London. The project is HS2 which is Europe's largest high speed rail infrastructure project and our client is working in joint venture delivering the work at a central London station. The opportunity is for a Project Manager with enabling works and ideally piling experience. As Project Manager you will deliver our clients vision through achieving the project objectives, working as a member of the Senior Leadership Team, establish and maintain site organisation and facilitate effective communications between all parties, attend progress meetings with Client (and deputise for the Project Director at HS2 Board meetings as required) be responsible for agreeing any change to works with Clients PM. To be considered we will require: Have excellent communication skills (including presentation skills). Be educated to degree or higher level or equivalent in a numerate discipline, typically an Engineering discipline. To demonstrate experience on major infrastructure projects (You should have enabling works experience and You should have piling experience). Membership of an appropriate Professional body, typically Chartered member or Fellow of Institute of Civil Engineering or hold an equivalent professional status. Demonstrate significant experience of complex station/transport interchange infrastructure build. A record of employment in senior management roles on projects of similar scope and scale, within the construction industry. Proven track record of delivering projects to time and budget, together with an exemplary safety, quality and sustainability record. NEC contract experience and advanced training. Excellent organisation and people management/ team building skills. Hold a CSCS Card and have undertaken the appropriate Safety for Senior Managers training.
