Band 6 Paediatric Physiotherapist (MSK) Merton Community Children's Physiotherapy Service 15 hours per week We are recruiting to a range of roles and are looking for the best community clinicians to join our expanding teams. Have you completed your Band 5 core rotations including Paediatrics, Orthopaedics and MSK? Are you interested in specialising in Paediatrics? We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated Physiotherapist, with a high level of Band 5 or Band 6 skills, to join our Community Health Service in Merton Borough. Your role will be to provide a high standard Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy service, working with children from birth to 19 years, with a variety of musculoskeletal conditions, including sports injuries, growth related problems, orthopaedic problems, fractures and persistent pain. The service is delivered mainly in an out-patients clinic setting, but may also require visits to patient's homes, mainstream schools or other community environments. You will work closely with established multi-professional teams within Merton Community services and with outside services to deliver physiotherapy advice and treatment meeting the needs of children and young people. You will have had experience of working with children in a clinic or community setting and your communication and team working skills will be excellent. The successful candidate will manage their own caseload of children to provide assessment, treatment planning and delivery. We are committed to professional development and evidence based practice, offering regular in-service training and peer group / one to one supervision. Internal and external courses are supported. You will be required to have at least 2 years' experience working as a practitioner with appropriate transferable skills working with children, engagement in post graduate training and education in areas related to working with musculoskeletal conditions is desirable. You should have experience of engaging in appraisal processes and be willing to further develop clinical skills. Employment Type: FULL_TIME
