Head of Quality Assurance - South West London - Pharmaceuticals Do you have experience with compliance for GxP guidelines? Have you responsibility for planning and executing Quality assurance with exposure to European markets? Are you looking to progress your career with a pharmaceutical company with an International presence? We are recruiting for a Head of Quality Assurance to join a pharmaceutical company with niche products in their South West London premises with excellent transport links. The Job: The Head of Quality Assurance will have the following roles and responsibilities: * Overall responsibility for quality, compliance against GxP and guidelines to meet all regulatory obligations * Delivery of a robust quality management system inclusive of change control, CAPA, deviation processes * Overall responsibility for developing and implementing QA related regulatory strategies and planning, managing and executing QA activities for products within Europe. * Ensure resource, process and system are adequate and fit for purpose for QC activities, QA batch reviews and QP release. * Ensure Quality compliance procedures are in place for existing and new suppliers * Make sure all sub-contract activity sites including testing labs, manufacturing, and packaging sites, 3PL providers and QP release services etc are compliant The Requirements: To be suitable for the position of Head of Quality Assurance you will ideally have the following skills and experience: * Strong understanding of GMO, GDP and GLP regulations within the EU * A background in pharmaceutical manufacturing * Ideally you will be a qualified QP though certified auditors will be considered * Experience leading and motivating a QA team The Package: The successful candidate for the role of Head of Quality Assurance will receive the following: * Salary - £75,000 - £85,000 * Generous bonus * Car allowance This position is based in South West London and is easily commutable from surrounding areas including Central London, Surrey and Middlesex and North London areas.
