Northern Care Alliance NHS Group Bury & Rochdale | North Manchester | Oldham | Salford The Oldham Care Organisation Consultant Intensivist/Anaesthetist The Royal Oldham Hospital - Critical Care The Alliance provides the benefits of scale but delivers this locally through multiple hospital sites which make up 4 new Care Organisations. Using our mantra of 'Saving lives, Improving lives', the aim is for our Care Organisations to work closely with the communities they serve to deliver safe, high quality and reliable care, which are trusted, connected and pioneering. As the Healthier Together plans continue across Greater Manchester the Oldham Care Organisation (Oldham Royal Hospital) is planned to play a crucial role and has been identified as a red/hub hospital for the area providing a specialist high acuity site for high risk elective and emergency general surgery across North East Manchester. The innovative plans will see Oldham Royal benefit from around 25 million investment to bring patient activity under the full scope of Healthier Together. This will include a state of the art new build for critical care over the next 2 to 3 years. Taking into account these exciting plans for expansion the Oldham Intensive Care team are looking to appoint enthusiastic, patient focussed Consultant Intensivist/Anaesthetists to join their team. Our service provision currently includes 8 HDU / 10 ICU beds playing a pivotal role for the acutely unwell patient and their families across our hospital. Working with a number of multidisciplinary teams from across the Alliance we are a team with passion to deliver the best possible care for our communities' loved one's and look forward to welcoming like-minded individuals to our team.
