Sister/Charge Nurse, 37,638 - 44,780 per annum incl. HCAS Emergency Department and Urgent Care Centre Are you ready to join a top performing Foundation trust in the heart of London? Do you want to join a friendly, focused team to give high quality care? Our Adult Emergency Department is looking to recruit professional and enthusiastic Band 6 Charge Nurse/Sister. We are looking for Band 6 nurses who are enthusiastic and motivated, and can demonstrate a kind and compassionate attitude, with a desire to provide effective and efficient urgent and emergency care practice. The Emergency Department and co-located Urgent Care Centre, treat's 125,000 patients a year. With strong nursing leadership, a dedicated ED Matron, Lead Nurse for ED and a Professional Development nurse to guide and support you in conjunction with an allocated mentor. We provide high quality emergency care and give structured support and development to all our nurses including a tailored induction at the start. As a Band 6 Sister/ Charge Nurse you will be expected take responsibility for shift leadership and management of the department as delegated by the Matron. We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate a kind and compassionate attitude, with the skills and experience to lead effective and efficient urgent and emergency care practice.
