Job Description
My client is a national specialist in the design, manufacture, installation and maintenance of a range of industrial door, roller shutters and loading bay equipment. They are currently looking to expand their successful existing teams throughout the country, looking predominantly in the West Midlands for an Industrial Door Engineer. The role for the Industrial Door Engineer will involve; * Working on clients' sites, including commercial and industrial as well as some retail areas throughout the West Midlands, with occasional travel further afield to assist the other branches. * Carrying out routine maintenance, servicing and reactive repairs on roller shutters, sectional overhead doors, steel door sets, loading bay equipment, security shutters, high speed doors, rapid-roll doors and more. * Optional participation in the 24-hour call-out rota, attending to emergency calls. * Working alongside and training a Mate, providing guidance on fault finding and carrying out repairs. To be considered for this position, you will ideally have; * Experience in maintenance and servicing of a range of industrial door products with confident fault finding ability on most products. * An NVQ 2 in Industrial Doors. * A DHF Certificate for Gates and Barriers. * Electrical experience, ideally backed up with a qualification (e.g. 17th Edition). * An in-date PASMA and IPAF certificate. * A CSCS card, however this is not essential for the role. This role will offer a competitive package including; * A basic rate of up to £16 per hour, depending on experience and industry related qualifications. * Excellent local coverage area, with a service and repair role only, no installation required. * Enhanced overtime rates. * Plenty of training and progression opportunities. * Optional call-out rota.
