CITI EMEA Industrials Corporate Banking Senior Associate, Aviation Citigroup Centre, 25 CANADA SQUARE CANARY WHARF, WEST INDIA DOCKS LONDON Competitive Salary Offered Closing date: 3 June 2020 The EMEA Industrials Corporate Banking Senior Associate, Aviation position is an intermediate level professional responsible for leading the planning of investment strategies and solutions for major market clients in coordination with the Institutional Banking team. The overall objective of this role is to deliver industry content and drive revenue by cross selling the Citi platform while efficiently deploying the firm's capital and evaluating and managing risk. Responsibilities: + Partner with Senior Bankers to provide overall relationship management support + Assist with day to day activities such as trading initiatives, supplier finance, foreign exchange, loan activity, debt capital markets efforts, equity solutions, interest rate/equity derivatives and cash management activities + Support Bankers in cross-selling full spectrum of products and services by identifying customer needs to generate revenue + Responsible for evaluating public filings, research reports, operations, business plans, and financial forecasts to produce strategic and financial analyses + Responsible for providing industry content in transaction approvals, annual reviews and for thought pieces & newsletters. + Responsible for staying abreast of market and industry trends, "best practices" and competitive landscape + Responsible for producing industry specific analysis and benchmarking to support in-country and Senior Bankers across EMEA with client and credit discussions + Ensure credit comparables, aircraft valuations, credentials, deal pipeline and other internal databases are maintained and updated + Develop a strong relationship with in-country franchises, risk managers and product partners across EMEA + Responsible for providing guidance to analysts to help support their development Qualifications: Strong credit skills, credit background and knowledge of Citi's credit policies, Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills Strong Excel financial modelling and PowerPoint skills Good knowledge of Citi's capital approval and booking processes Knowledge of Institutional Banking products such as DCM, ECM, FX, Commodities, Derivatives, TTS Education: Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience, MBA or Master's Degree in Business preferred Citi is an Equal Opportunities Employer Exceptional candidates who do not meet these criteria may be considered for the role provided they have the necessary skills and experience ----- Grade :All Job Level - All Job FunctionsAll Job Level - All Job Functions - GB ----- Time Type : ----- Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
