Job Description

Assala Energy is a young and dynamic Oil and Gas Exploration and Production company with an exciting operated asset base in Gabon, firm core values and a keen sense of responsibility to our employees and stakeholders. An opportunity has been created for an experienced HR Analyst to provide services for a project estimated to last 6 months on a FTC basis. The work scope and deliverables are centred around building tools to provide intelligence to the HR team around key topics including but not limited to: jobs, compensation and employment trends. Your deliverables will include setting up a reporting framework, capable of providing accurate Environmental and Social Governance insights (gender pay gap analysis, diversity, demographics, pay benchmarking), using various HR data sets. If you can achieve exceptional results in identifying trends, drawing useful conclusions and recommending solutions, wed like to meet you. Ultimately, you will be responsible for the design and roll out of a variety of tools which will ensure maximum efficiency for our HR function. Scope of Work: * Design different excel modelling tools capable of providing insights across HR focus topics such as: annual HR budget, Resourcing Plan, diversity & inclusion, etc. * Calculate retention and turnover rates * Report on key recruiting metrics like time to fill and hiring costs * Forecast costs by department and provide relevant budget inputs * Assess results from our employee performance reviews * Gather benchmark data about jobs, compensation and benefits Requirements * Financial modelling expert with 10+ years of experience in a similar role; * Excellent analytical skills and the ability to highlight value-adding insights * Ability to create detailed spreadsheets, charts and presentations * Good research abilities * Familiarity with HR operations including hiring, payroll and employee benefits is highly desirable, however not compulsory Benefits This is a project-based assignment for an estimated duration of 6 months and the work will be carried out of our corporate headquarters in Hammersmith, London.
