We are looking for a candidate with excellent numerical and data analytical skills. At our Payroll Department in Gold Care Homes, we focus on delivering a first-class payroll service, providing relevant and qualitative information to help strategically drive the business forward and ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time. Effective and efficient human resource management is a driving force for any healthcare organisation. As a fast-growing company this is an evolving role and has potential to be a key member of the organisation finance team. This is an office-based job located at Uxbridge, London however may be required to travel to care homes therefore driving could be useful. Come for a job, stay for a career! A Day in the Life + Ensures payroll reporting are compliant with company policy + Researches and interprets data intensive reports for executive team summarising KPIs and key business issues. + Responds to highly dynamic business needs by analysing complex payroll data and producing action driven reports + Perform data analysis to investigate, diagnose and apply corrective action on any underlying people and process issues + Creates standard operating procedures, responds to merger and acquisition activities, and monitors monthly journal entry and accurate schedules. + May work with system programmers to achieve solutions on various reports and business needs + Review all payroll control procedures and processes to ensure high level o authenticity of the information being processed. Duties and Responsibilities + Ensuring Payroll procedures are compliant with internal regulations. + Extensive data analysis and producing payroll reports for various stakeholders within the business + Co-ordinate with various management levels to improve the data integrity of payroll and improve data quality + Posting and reconciliation of payroll related activities to the general ledger + Fully comply with Pension controls and Audit. + Excellent time management, administration skills and attention to detail. + Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work on own initiative and perform well under pressure with tight deadlines. + Work as part of a team, rotating responsibilities to ensure flexibility is maintained within the function. + Active role in Payroll related Projects. Must Haves skills and qualifications + Bachelors degree / professional qualification in numerical related subject + Previous experience as an analyst / data analyst is must + Excellent numerical and data analytical skills + Experience of UK Payroll in a similar role will be beneficial + Advanced and experience Excel user and quick learner on new systems + Power BI / SQL skills is highly advantageous + Any IT and analytics related software certifications are beneficial + You are a dynamic team player and can work effectively and proactively partnering with HR and Finance + You are experienced in working with multiple matrix (operational, Business, HR & Finance) with excellent people and communication skills. + You are a good communicator and fluent in English, both in writing and speaking. + You have an excellent ability to deal with and protect the confidential nature of information you are in contact with and are a self-starter, and organized individual who can work under pressure and keep to deadlines.
