Job Description OBJECTIVE The role will be based full-time, on-site with a customer located in London. The candidate will need to have a mix of technical and soft skills; most importantly prior Data Migration development experience and evidence of prior management skills. The role will require the chosen candidate to meet and work with the client throughout the data migration process to understand the data migration requirements and work closely with the Northgate Public Services [NPS] Project Manager to understand the plan, dependencies and timescales. An awareness and ability to identify risks and issues is key and to flag these to the NPS Project Manager. The role will involve documentation as well as technical analysis of the Legacy data; including the documentation of required Business Rules, Field Mappings and Transformation Rules. Prior involvement in a Data Migration test cycle is required. This individual needs to be a self-starter, have good customer facing skills and be able to drive out requirements and elicit business decisions that are not readily available. The NPS BRC Team will support this individual to gain the required understanding of the BRC specification against which they are developing, with protection of data integrity into CONNECT remaining the key driver for all decisions. Support from the wider team will be available where necessary, but this individual will be required to self-manage, providing regular feedback on rules being defined and highlighting potential issues and concerns throughout. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES * Overall responsibility for the technical design and development of the Client Legacy Data Processes and Scope. * Leading the Data Migration Audit / Test Cycles, including any associated analysis / investigative activity if issues are found. * Working with the CONNECT NPS Project Manager and NPS BRC Team to support the planning and execution of the Client data migration plan. * Coordinate and lead the technical running of the data migration with the Client. * You will be expected to work with the CONNECT NPS Project Manager to ensure project priorities are being observed and keep them abreast of progress against plan for the Client Data Migration and any issues or dependencies. * Documentation of any Field Mappings, Business Rules and Transformation Rules, and their ongoing maintenance. Qualifications CORE COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE * Experience of managing and developing full life-cycle Data Migration projects. * Experience of planning and executing Data Migration Audits and analysis / investigation of their outcomes. * Customer facing experience. * Data Analysis or Data Warehousing type develo
