Job Description
Our client is a leading FM Service Provider that is currently enjoying a growth period via new contract awards and continuous contract renewals. It is now looking to hire a Compliance & Authorising Engineer for its business assurance department. As the Compliance & Authorising Engineer, you will work across the Service Provider's portfolio of M&E contracts, providing assistance so they are compliant with legislative and regulatory requirements. You will ensure correct implementation of Compliance with Safe Systems of Work across all disciplines & projects. In addition, the Compliance & Authorising Engineer will embrace the concept of Life Long Learning and actively support the development of engineers throughout our client's assessment process. Ensuring identification of appropriate training, assessment and auditing of Authorised Persons. The successful Compliance & Authorising Engineer will also be responsible for implementing the company's Safety Rules and Procedures, in line with company policies and changes in legislation. And to contribute to Policy change and write Safety Rules and associated documentation where appropriate. You will assess the experience, training and competence of Authorised Persons, Responsible Persons, Competent Persons, and Skilled Persons, and provide recommendations for appointment as required. Carry out internal or external auditing activities as required; to include evaluation of subcontractor documentation and service reports. Provide technical and engineering support and coaching as necessary to ensure all Authorised Persons can carry out their duties.
