Job Description
We have an urgent requirement for a number of Sewing Machinists for our prestigious client based in Ashton-in-Makerfield. The Successful Candidates will be: * *Experienced sewing machinists within the textile manufacturing industry; Experienced using overlock and lockstitch sewing machines at a competent level; Additional experience using Durkoff Adler binding machines would be advantageous but not essential Numerate; Have a flexible attitude and the ability to multi task; Able to demonstrate initiative with a proactive approach to solving problems and an attention to detail; Reliable, organised, conscientious and able to work under pressure. *Key responsibilities: *Safe and efficient operation of sewing machines to finish quilts and pillows; Meeting quality standards; Achieving production output rates; Setting up machine including re-threading; Maintaining housekeeping standards and a safe working environment. *Monday to Friday - 6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm on a Rotating basis Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
