Job Description

Morgan Hunt are looking for a Communications Manager for a Housing Organisation. End of June start date, 3 month contract, up to £25.57 per hour, working from home. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative self starter to join an energetic communications team as a Communications Manager supporting the Executive and Senior Leadership teams. This a temporary role for 3 months initially with an extension possibility for the right candidate. 37.5 hours per week with flexible working hours. Main responsibilities of the Communications Manager: * Producing communications materials for online and offline channels like newsletters, reports, press releases, social media and website content. * Translate complex and detailed messages into easy read communication materials and adapt them to the target audience. * Work with HR to deliver innovative employee engagements initiative. * Ensuring the brand is protected and all communications reflect the style and values of the organisation. Recognise possible risks for the brand reputation and ensure the risks are managed. The skills and experience needed for the Communications Officer role: * Extensive experience in internal and external communications on management level. * Previous experience working in a customer focused public sector organisation. * Experience in managing a media relationship for a public sector organisation. * Previous experience working with all levels of the organisation, strong experience in supporting the senior leadership team.
