**Job Description:** Project Manager (VP) - Global Booking Controls **Overview:** The Markets and Securities Services (MSS) business continues to enhance the In-Business Risk and Control function, specifically delivering the next phases in the development of a robust framework of Front Office booking controls including pre-trade, preventative, intraday, end of day, and detective controls; also reporting of MI to senior business management and oversight committees including Legal Entity boards. **Job Purpose:** Booking Controls focus on what is booked where, and why - ensuring adherence to business, desk and individual trader mandates and also ensuring the integrity of legal entities in preventing material booking errors. Booking Controls also focus on how a trade is booked - ensuring Front Office bookings are accurate, timely and complete in order to proceed downstream and onwards to internal/external reporting and stakeholder groups. The role is part of the MSS Front Office organisation and will be a key part of the in-business risk & control team responsible for project managing the delivery of a multi-phase program of booking controls. This is an exciting opportunity for a practically minded, seasoned professional with a good understanding of Front Office trading controls together with a proven track record in project management. **Responsibilities:** + Develop a sound understanding of the multiple project work-streams and deliverables, ensuring good program governance, oversight and monitoring activities in accordance with Citi's Project Management Policies and Standards + Support the Program Director in the identification, escalation and resolution of program risks and issues, and ensure the timely delivery of plans, resources and reporting to MSS and Legal Entity management, and stakeholder groups + Coordinate across project work-streams to track and report status of key deliverables including the remediation of issues and Corrective Action Plans (CAPs), progress against milestones and target delivery dates, communicating and escalating as required + Perform project reviews and health checks of the book of work + Prepare targeted project reporting and control updates for senior internal and external audiences including Boards, Committees and Regulators + Provide support in the coordination and response across MSS businesses for audit and regulatory communications and reviews relating to booking controls + Participate in risk based assessments and gap analyses to identify inherent and residual risk associated with trade booking processes + Partner with the Business and stakeholder groups to design and deliver booking control solutions, both strategically and tactically where required; drive forward control enhancement initiatives and investigate control failures. **Knowledge Experience & Skills** + Minimum of 6 years experience in MSS or ICG relevant control function with proven track record in project management + Good understanding of MSS Businesses and related control principles + Strong project management skills; understanding of relevant program management methodologies, frameworks, process and tools + Excellent reporting and communication skills - ability to present information in a clear and concise manner to a senior audience + Excellent planning and task management skills, capable of juggling multiple and changing priorities. + Ability to collaborate with and coordinate across multiple different businesses, regions and/or support functions + Effective negotiation and relationship skills + Strong problem solving and analytical skills with ability to target the root cause + A proactive 'can-do' attitude and 'no surprises' approach in communicating issues + Self-starter with excellent attention to detail + Global mind-set with regional and global product understanding + Excellent Microsoft Office skills and an advanced user of MS PowerPoint, Excel and Project. **Qualifications** + Undergraduate degree + Proven project management skills, recognised program/project management qualification preferred ----- Grade : ----- Time Type : ----- Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
