Junior QA Tester Bankable is an award-winning fintech company that displaces payment and banking inefficiencies worldwide since 2010. Bankable can power any product or service which involves collecting funds, storing funds and paying funds irrespective of the currency and the payment methods used. Your Role We are looking for a motivated junior QA to join our expanding team in London. Your focus will be ensuring our banking platform meets the high standards of quality and reliability expected by our customers. Working within a small team, you will help design quality into our platform from the very start of the development process. As part of an agile team, you will need to be adaptable to help with a wide range of other activities when needed, so developer skills are a benefit. Requirement * Demonstrable experience (>1year) as QA Engineer testing for, and working directly with, developers on HTML/web applications in an Agile environment * Deep interest in web stack technologies and the various challenges and opportunities (e.g. user interaction, browser compatibility, security) that come with them * A strong understanding of the tools, concepts and QA and can speak to this in relation to products/projects you've previously delivered successfully * Full software life cycle knowledge and how to appropriately test at each stage * Exposure to java Desirable * Knowledge of API testing * Knowledge of web automation tool s * Knowledge of Git * Knowledge of SQL What we offer * On the job training to use automation frameworks, including Rest Assured for testing API's and Selenium for web sites. * The chance to explore other/new tools and continually learning. * Be part of a collaborative, diverse and driven group of individuals * A chance to help shape our future Benefits Work at a fun, fast-paced FinTech based in Europe's largest technology accelerator - Level39 (Canary Wharf, London).
