Job Title: Mandarin Chinese Admin and Telemarketing Executive (Graduate with outbound calling experience) Team: Lead generation sales team Visa: This role does not offer sponsorship and Visa status MUST be clearly marked on the cv or the cv will be deleted. Job Sector: Publishing and Education sector Location: London Job Type: Permanent, full-time Salary: up to £28,000 ( depending on experience) Company This is a market leader in promoting new ways of learning adapted for secondary school pupils . This new way to experience school involves pupils experiencing a more immersive experience with the use of virtual reality headsets. The whole school classroom experience is being turned upside down with the help of cutting-edge experiential technology. Use of tech in this creative way is one of the most radical changes to affect us all and will directly impact how the next generation learns. It also makes learning easier, more fun and far more engaging than traditional classroom-book classes...it is also very relevant for how children learn right now in this Covid 19 phase, and beyond. You will join the Chinese Team. This position involves researching new schools and approaching them over the telephone to generate new leads. Your target audience will be schools across the Chinese mainland and you will initailly be able to work remotely. The role * Research schools in China: approach schools in China and find out if they are interested in learning about the new learning technology * Find the names , emails, budgets details and contact numbers for Chinese Heads of Department and Head Teachers * Send out emails to introduce the service: work with the marketing team to send out bulk emails to a target list of contacts * Social media: Use social media / communities and online resources to identify key contacts within targeted local authorities / accounts and build network of relationships * Qualify the new leads : asses interest levels * Engage with your audience: Answer in-coming enquiries originating from the website * Upload: upload leads onto the in-house system * Research competitor activity. YOU will use WeChat regularly. * Price Quotations: put together quotations * Attend Events: when appropriate again, go to education related exhibitions and conferences where you will get the chance to meet Head Teachers and education experts Requirements : PLEASE NOTE : YOU MUST HAVE YOUR VISA STATUS CLEARLY MARKED ON THE CV ITSELF OR THE CV WILL BE DELETED. * You must have 1 year previous telesales or telemarketing experience (outbound calling) * Previous admin experience is essential * Degree educated * Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin)
