Job Summary This role is to support smooth delivery of business programs and schemes, and system improvements for FINAL FANTASY XIV/XI and coordination between the teams in Square Enix Europe and oversea offices. Provide support achieving the business plans, by ensuring that both the Square Enix EU offices and Japanese FFXIV/FFXI Dev/Project teams have clear and accurate understanding of each others goals, business needs, priorities and results. The successful candidate will form part of a busy team, have excellent knowledge of FINAL FANTASY XIV/XI and the current gaming trends and be an integral part of delivering success on one of the biggest games in the Square Enix portfolio. The role reports into the Project Manager and is for an initial 12-month term. Key Deliverables * Support delivery of programs and schemes from planning to execution. Review existing schemes and plan improvements. * Assist in managing ongoing and upcoming projects using task monitoring tools. * Create presentations and reports. * Work on various projects and other ad hoc requests from Project Manager and other key stakeholders. * Coordination regarding legal checks, translation and promotional campaigns between various teams in EU/US and Japan. * Sharing internal information and details from Japan teams to EU stakeholders. * Support in assets and network filing system management. Downloading of assets and keeping track of embargos. * Assistance in creating criteria and collecting data. * Taking minutes during meetings and sharing with the teams. * Assisting teams to organize and hold consumer and media events and FanFestivals. * Providing translations from/to English and Japanese where needed depending on candidates linguistic skills Key Stakeholders EU Project Manager, Executive Director Square Enix Europe Japanese Business Division, Sr. Brand Director, Brand Manager, PR and Community team, Local territory business managers and marketing teams, Operations, Localisation and Production teams, SEJ Brand/Dev Team Reports to EU Project Manager Requirements Knowledge and ExperienceEssential * Proven project and time management experience. * Competent in MS Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). * Knowledge of the entertainment software industry. * Knowledge of the Massively Multiplayer Online game genre. * Degree level education or equivalent. Desirable * Previous brand marketing or project management experience within the computer games industry and / or entertainment industry preferred, but not essential.
