There is a lot that we know - who applies for every shift, who gets hired, and what rating each side of the marketplace gives the other at the end of the shift. We know the industry sector, the date, the time, the place, the skills requirements, the wage. We know the past application history of the worker, and the employment history of the employers. We're forming a data science team to accelerate our ability to make better matches and to learn from every interaction. Our vision is to be able to predict not just our user needs, but also the likelihood of a successful job completed for both the worker and the employer. Responsibilities * Processing and analysis of data from user interactions within a digital system - experience of a marketplace environment would be an advantage * Regression analysis of existing data to identify the features and correlations with the greatest potential to drive user behaviour * Feature extraction and statistical validation of developed features * Managing and organizing tools and methods used to process and analyse user behavioural data * Make suggestions for improvement of product concepts based on results from data analytics * Assist in implementation of server-sided algorithms * Communication with internal and external stakeholders to support the company in its growth strategy and to keep on top of progress in data science and algorithm development. Professional competences: * Several years of data science/modelling or signal analysis experience in a similar environment * Experience in setting up necessary methods, systems and tools * Profound knowledge of statistical and other mathematical methods and tools, preferably Python. * Experience in AWS environments and machine learning is a plus * Strong competences in presenting data science findings Skills & Aptitudes : * Strong analytical skills, proven SQL mastery and process-oriented work style * Strong communication skills * Enjoys working in fast-paced and busy environments * Happy to work in a very interdisciplinary, international environment with various internal and external partners, and where necessary international travel to various Coople offices Sounds like you?
