Job Description
Housing Support Workers. Do you have a passion for helping others and want to make a difference to the lives of vulnerable young people? If so, then we need you. Carbrey Housing provides safe and secure accommodation and support services to Care Leavers aged 16-18. The role: Housing Support Workers are part of a team who, along with the Senior Support worker and Housing Manager, create a safe and secure home and enable the young people for independent living in all areas of their lives post-placement. Hours: 37.5 hours per week including evenings and weekends. Sleep in shifts paid as extra. Benefits: Excellent and competitive rates of pay from 9.00/hour Career graded progression scale rising to 9.94/hour Sleep-in allowance (78.48 per night + 12.07% holiday pay paid) Fully paid induction and ongoing training as required Free enhanced DBS check for permanent employees (you must register for DBS Update once received) Paid mileage 30 days paid holiday (including bank holidays) Qualifications: QCF/NVQ 3 in Health and Social Care/ Children and Young People workforce or equivalent is desirable. (If not a willingness to work towards this qualification post Probation is required) All staff must hold a full UK driving license, or equivalent.
