Supported Housing Officer Location: Gloucester Salary: £20,000 - £20,500 dependent on experience + good benefits Hours: 37.5 hours per week Contract: Permanent Elim's vision is 'To address housing need and deliver places for people to call home'. We are an aspirational housing organisation who are embedding our new 'CARES' culture. Elim Housing is a social landlord providing housing and support services. We manage over 800 homes, and wish to recruit a Supported Housing Officer for our high support accommodation service in Gloucester. Elim is proud to be working in innovative ways and we strive to provide excellent service and support to our clients. Elim uses the PIP approach (Psychologically Informed Practice) to work with our clients in holistic way to ensure they receive the best support possible. We also heavily invest in developing our staff to make sure they're fully equipped to support our clients so a wide range of training will be available for you. The Supported Housing Officer Role We are looking for highly organised, motivated individual with exceptional communication skills who is passionate about making positive difference in peoples' lives. As a Supported Housing Officer you will be working closely with our clients, supporting them through difficult times in their lives. This involves dealing with housing management issues as well as working closely with our tenants on 1 to 1 basis. Taylor House is staffed 7 days per week so flexibility is required as the work pattern includes some evenings and weekends. Requirements for the Supported Housing Officer Role Ideally you would have background working in supported housing or support related environment however this is not essential as we are looking for people with the right attitude, who are willing to learn and develop on professional level so if you feel that you have adequate transferable skills, life experience and you would like to make a difference in peoples' lives this might be the right job for you.
