We're recruiting nurses to join our cardiac high dependency unit (CHDU), coronary care unit (CCU), catheter lab and catheter lab day unit teams, as well as our wards - all part of the cardiovascular and thoracic care group at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust (UHS). Be an integral part of the team caring for patients with a wide range of healthcare needs including heart failure, heart disease, cardiac surgery, vascular surgery and thoracic surgery. ABOUT OUR CARE GROUP The cardiovascular and thoracic care group has 139 beds and provides regional tertiary cardiovascular and thoracic services to Hampshire, the Isle of Wight, Dorset, West Sussex and Wiltshire patients along with the local population of Southampton, New Forest and Eastleigh. We can offer opportunities within the areas below through a bespoke rotational post that is tailored to you from the following areas: - Cardiology - including interventional cardiology, heart failure and electrophysiology - Cardiac surgery - Thoracic surgery - Adult congenital cardiac ward - Catheter laboratory and day unit - Vascular We're looking for motivated, enthusiastic and caring nurses to join one of the largest cardiovascular and thoracic centres in the country, providing services to a population of three million people and part of the major trauma centre.
