We are looking for a nurses who are interested in isolation care to join C5 our isolation ward in University Hospitals Southampton NHS Foundation Trust (UHS). ABOUT THE TEAM C5 has 14 rooms and cares for patients with higher risk diseases and also is the base for our cystic fibrosis patients. Our isolation unit is an exciting development that will see us deliver world-class infection prevention practice. In short, we want this pioneering development to be the best and that is why we want you to join us and add to the team of nursing professionals who'll make it reality. WHAT YOU'LL DO Your goal will be to make every patient's experience in isolation as positive as it possibly can be - and we'll ensure that you have all the resources, facilities and support to achieve that. We've not just made a big investment in this new unit. We'll make a big investment in you too. In this role you will: - Lead a small team to ensure high standards of care are developed and maintained within the team - To provide supervision to members of the team - Giving and receiving regular reports on the progress of the patient acting on any changes and to a relevant health care professional - Maintain accurate records of observation, treatment and patient/family care.
