Job Description

TrueLayer is looking for a results-oriented, B2B focused Content Marketer to take our content and events program to the next level. You'll be responsible for owning our content and events strategy and delivering a well-researched, memorable content program that differentiates our brand and inspires our audiences. You are comfortable crafting comms for both technical and business stakeholders, and you have experience producing content across multiple channels, from long-form reports, to event presentations and podcasts. This person will develop a deep understanding of the markets we operate in and industries we serve, identifying where and how content can provide the greatest value. The ideal individual will have experience writing about technology and finance, and the work samples to prove it. Experience producing developer-focused content at an API company is a huge plus. As our Content M arketing Lead , you will: * Own our content and events strategy, refining it over time as we learn which channels and storylines are most impactful * Create and manage a content and events calendar that supports a regular cadence of new campaigns, ensuring all stakeholders are informed * Take ownership of our newsletter, blog, and social channels * Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to write long and short form content * Stay on top of the news cycle and trends in fintech and open banking to ensure TrueLayer leads these conversations on a global scale * Work with our product and engineering teams to uncover content themes and topics that can differentiate our platform and empower our customers * Take ownership of TrueLayer's brand voice, evolve it and make sure it's communicated and used across the board within the organisation * Support thought leadership efforts including working with executive leadership on stories, announcements, and presentations * Help TrueLayer evolve its core narrative and help us tell our story in a more captivating way across not just marketing but the whole organisation Requirements What we need from you * Proven experience creating B2B-focused content in a technology company or fast-growing business in the finance sector * A strong portfolio of material showcasing your work across multiple marketing channels * Experience in full-funnel content marketing, as well as content distribution and promotion * You are data-driven: able to institute reporting on content marketing performance, and using performance metrics to optimise strategies * Experience coordinating and running events * Exceptional written and verbal communication and an eye for detail * Creative mindset, proactively seeking ideas for content pieces and speaking opportunities * The ability to juggle multiple work streams in a fast-paced environment * A bias towards action and getting things done * A genuine interest in fintech and open banking Nice to haves: * Previous experience working at a B2B fintech startup and the work samples to prove it * An understanding of API platform technology * Previous experience writing technical content (product, engineering, etc) * You have experience in evolving a company's brand voice Benefits What you can expect from us: (As well as working alongside other friendly, passionate and talented people, you'll also get) * Competitive salary and meaningful equity in the company * A lovely, spacious, natural light filled office in Clerkenwell * Team lunches on Friday * Flexible work and hours - we all work at home, or elsewhere, from time to time * Flexible holiday policy * Generous parental leave * An employer sponsored pension * Vitality Health Insurance from day 1 * Learning & development allowance * Annual retreat * Regular socials * Choice of hardware * (and yes we have a ping pong table ) Be your True(Layer) self at work At TrueLayer, we choose to talk about Inclusion and Diversity [in that specific order] because we believe Diversity won't be successful without Inclusion first.
