Job Description
Wolf & Badger is a fast growing and innovative multi-channel retail business with teams in London and New York that has exciting and ambitious plans for the next stages of development on its bespoke e-commerce platform. We are currently seeking a motivated finance professional to help with our monthly reporting & analysis processes, and day to day finance operations. The business: Wolf & Badger operates an industry leading platform and app that connects independent designers with a global market of customers. The company is in a rapid growth stage and is developing tech to change the face of online retail.The team now has a new office at Coal Drops Yard, close to transport links with a great team-orientated working environment plus other perks. What is expected from you: The role involves supporting the Finance team across all areas of the finance function. The right candidate will have a financial bent of mind, a propensity for data and attention to detail. The role will require the candidate to adapt to fast moving needs of the wider executive team and to be committed to helping the company reach its aggressive growth targets. Amongst other things, the candidate will be responsible for: * Consolidating and analysing monthly P&Ls * Disbursing payments to our vendors * Supporting the finance team with some administrative tasks * High level financial analysis of our key spend areas * Embedding monthly financial routines into the wider business Requirements Technical requirements: * Adept with Microsoft Excel * Degree in Economics, Finance, or similar * Knowledge of basic accounting principles Desirables: * Experience in a high performing finance environment * Customer Service or B2B relationship management experience Benefits * Competitive salary, dependent on experience * Creative work environment within Coal Drops Yard, Kings Cross * Flexible working hours, with a mix of in-house and remote work possible * 25 days in addition to bank holidays * Paid pet-ernity and heartbreak leave * Discounts on cafe, restaurant and retail at Wolf & Badger * Excellent career opportunities in a rapidly growing international business
