Sharp Gaming is based in Manchester city centre and stems form the gaming division at Degree 53. The platform is still in development and we are recruiting talented individuals to help bring our vision to life. Due to our successful growth, we are now looking for an Automation Tester to join our team! What will I be doing? This role sits within our QA team and reports to the Head of QA. You will be responsible for the quality of the projects that you are working on, ensuring everything delivered to the client meets our high standards. You will work closely with the Head of QA to define the test strategy and plan for the projects. You will be writing and executing the automation test scripts and reporting the results. You will also be working closely with the QA and Development teams to implement improvements tothe new or existing solutions. About You We are looking for a skilled individual who share our values, to join our exceptionally talented QA team. We value collaboration and creativity and want everyone to come up with ideas on how to create the best products for our clients; new and existing. This is the right role for you if you have: * Experience of using/creating appropriate documentation, test strategy, test reports, test conditions, test cases, test procedures * Expert knowledge of either iOS or Android operating systems * At least 5 years' experience in testing and 3 years of automation testing * Use of C# to create automation suites * Knowledge of: Java,Selenium WebDriver, BDD & TDD, SQL, Cucumber/SpecFlow, Git, Appium Jenkins * Web & Mobile Application Testing * REST and SOAP services (WCF and .Net HTTP Client) * Jira, Confluence * ISEB Qualification is a bonus * Experience with test management, issue tracking and project management tools * Experience working in an Agile development environment is useful * An excellent communicator, both verbal and written * Experience in gambling is a nice to have but experience on similar scale and complexity system is needed * Adaptable and able to pick up new techniques * Enjoys keeping up to date with advances in mobile and web technologies and how they can be applied to projects * Hard working and willing to go above and beyond learning new skills * An interest in troubleshooting and problem solving What's in it for me? * Competitive salary * Employee of the month * Monthly team lunches * Generous referral bonus scheme * 25 days holiday a year in addition to bank holidays * Flexi-time (start anywhere between 7.30am-9am -whatever suits you best!) * Company Pension Scheme * City Centre Office space with a cosy breakout area and Wii U and PS4 consoles Employment Type: FULL_TIME
