Manpower are currently recruiting for recruitment/support advisors to work on behalf of one of our University clients based in the Manchester area. This role is full time working 37 hours a week Due to the current climate this position will require remote working (from home) so full internet access must be accessible. (If successful- all IT equipment i.e laptops will be provided and delivered to your home address) Remote working hours will be Monday- Friday 9am-5pm. Although as restrictions are lifted and people return to work you will be required to work from the Wythenshaw/Manchester based office on the below hours/shifts. Flexible working hours is available dependant on request as shown below. 08:00 to 20:30 Monday to Friday and 09:00 to 17:00 on Saturdays (working one Saturday in four on average, with a day off in the week). Shift times are generally 08:00-16.00, 09:30-17:30, 10:00-18:00, 11:00-19:00, 12:00-20:00 and 12:30-20:30. There will be full support in place to ensure you have the help you need but it will be important that you have a dedicated space suitable for work. The role involves providing proactive support and information to enquirers and students on all aspects of registration and to subsequently reserve and register students, whilst adhering to service policy and practice. We also support students studying with us, by providing information and triaging queries to other departments within the university, where appropriate. We communicate via , email, letter, web chat and other mediums as necessary. We also make use of computerised database systems to maintain customer, company and enquirer details. The ideal candidate will have the following experience: - Strong IT skills (previous experience with complex applications) - Experience with using a number of applications at any one time - Good communication/customer service skills (both written & oral) - Ability to work of your own initiative - Attention to detail This role involves an initial 3 weeks full time training. The induction training for this role will be conducted online from home. You will be fully supported by a Trainer while you attend this programme, along with up to 12 other people, who will form your virtual training group. You'll be able to see and communicate with your group throughout training, so you'll need to be either already comfortable with, or at least open to interacting with others via a web cam. Throughout training normal office hours will apply and no annual leave is allowed during this period. There is minimal annual leave available for the first 2 weeks after training, due to the high levels of support provided to enable new starters to embed their knowledge from training.
