Job Description
My client are a renowned consultancy that have various well established sectors in the construction trade, now looking to boost their facade division with an appointment of a Facade Engineer. The Engineer will be working under the guidance of a Facade Associate, delivering envelope solutions to various tier 1 contractors and developers. Duties and responsibilities will include: Work closely with the Facade Associate or Project Leader on all technical matters relating to the project Undertake design, engineering and documentation, providing specialist input and resolving technical problems Responsible for the administration, all technical matters, resources required and performance on projects that are managed by you Perform façade structural design and analysis calculations using governing codes, standards and engineering formulas Undertake liaison and coordination with other Designers, including Architects and other Engineers to agree on safe designs and their fit with the aesthetic and concept of the construction Prepare design reports at concept and sketch design stages Assist the project teams with all aspect of project implementation, including but not limited to site and factory inspection, quality, audits, reports preparation, etc Demonstrate capability and experience in managing and performing projects in a fast paced environment Depending on the calibre of the candidate, my client would look to pay £55k to £65k plus package.
