We are looking for a dynamic and entrepreneurial executive to be Tractable's Head of Automotive in order to drive pre-sales and post-sales for Iberia. Role Your role consists mainly in Developing trust and credibility with conservative insurance underwriting / claims senior management so the sales cycle can be shortened, use cases finalised, and Tractable can be positioned as an AI Leader provider in Iberia. You will be given supporting resources and the means to further establish yourself as an industry figure via authored content and talks such as use cases, reports, webinars, thought pieces etc To accomplish this, the Head of Automotive must have a strong desire to leverage their industry knowledge and expertise, develop a technical growth strategy, configure and effectively demonstrate the solutions that address these requirements and provide business value. Previous experience as a Head of Motor Claims or similar in a Top Tiered insurer is required. Main Objectives * Develop trust and credibility with conservative insurance claims management so sales cycle can be shortened * Contribute to product strategy and R&D for Iberia as a Spanish motor and insurance subject matter expert * Work with Sales Team to position Tractable as an AI Leader provider in Iberia * Build relationships with Spanish insurance media & entities such Centro Zaragoza, Inese..etc * Author content to build up Tractables reputation within the Spanish insurance industry * Attain annual objectives assigned by Management * Work with Sales Team to effectively respond to RFPs Skills / Background * Demonstrable experience working at a Top tiered Insurer within the underwriting / claims departments as Head of Motor Claims or Senior Claims Motor Director * Deep knowledge of auto repair standards / processes in Spain, including main estimating platforms * Demonstrable relationships within the Spanish motor insurance industry * Experience in designing workflow strategies for auto claims * Knowledge of Fraud detection within the motor claim / underwriting departments * Experience in Transformation / Digitization projects involving AI for Motor Claims is a plus * Knowledge of the insurance sector in LatAm is a plus * Ability to work as part of a team to solve technical and functional problems * Solid oral, written, presentation, collaboration and interpersonal communication skills * Native fluency in Spanish is required of this role Company benefits * Competitive salary and commission scheme * Equity stake in a fast-growing business * Participation in bringing AI to the real world
