Job Description Role Purpose: As a Rulebook Configuration Analyst , you'll be primarily responsible for supporting and delivering the definition,design, configuration and amendment of insurance software products for our clients. This is an opportunity that will present exposure to many well-known insurance brands, working within a well-established company and well-known team in the London Insurance Market, with opportunities for career path development in many directions. Main Responsibilities: * Undertake the configuration of analytical products (Rulebook) within the tool-set and assist in the definition of the underlying logic * Assist Business Analysts and Consultants in their design and configuration * Interpret clients' needs and translate them into documented business, functional and technical requirements * Work with business stakeholders to provide advice and guidance * Assist in the preparation of, and maintenance of, training material * Play a part in ongoing client support, particularly in the use of the tool (Rulebook) * Work as part of a team and take responsibility for continuous personal and team development Qualifications Must be * A university graduate in a technical (STEM) field, typically Computer Science, Mathematics or Physics, with 18 -24 months working experience in a related Analyst role. * Experience in configuring software, and desire to build on this, ideally working within complex insurance pricing and rating area * Logical, analytical and mathematical * Able to meet deadlines, to multitask and to work accurately under pressure, and with focus * Adept at problem solving * Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Desirable * Specific London Market insurance domain knowledge is advantageous * Exposure to actuarial and pricing functions and models * Experience working with #Rulebook or similar ([pricing and rating) software products * Knowledge of development toolsets, e.g. ASP.net Attributes * Passionate and enthusiastic approach to (you) work, and ability to interact well with other at all levels within the business * Professional and well-manners * Calm under pressure and able to work within a fast-paced environment Additional Information Verisk Analytics is an equal opportunity employer.
