Field Marketing Manager, Europe Hiring Manager: Director, Demand Strategy, Science Group Product line: Web of Science Geography: Europe Description The Field Marketing Manager is responsible for the delivery of on-time, on-budget regional marketing campaigns that meet targeted business outcomes effectively for the WOSG product line for Europe, ensuring that regional marketing plans are developed and executed in close collaboration with global marketing programs and the local sales leadership. They manage the regional marketing budget to deliver maximum and targeted ROI for the WOSG European sales team. Roles & responsibilities * Provides marketing leadership to support the European WOSG sales organization in achievingits short, medium and long-term goals * Develops the WOSG European marketing plan in alignment with global marketing plans and messaging, and WOSG European goals and sales targets * Ensures successful research, planning, implementation, and execution of regionalized, rapid response, and account-based marketing campaigns, events and activities as defined by the strategic marketing plan, key customer messaging and proof points, brand ambassadorship; tactics, timing and measurement * Facilitates the dissemination of up to date brand materials and ensures brand consistency * Generates buy-in and support for marketing programs from local sales team lead * Assists in training internal teams, Sales reps, and customer-facing staff on marketing programs * Manages lead conversion, pipeline analysis and acceleration programmes and ensures swift follow up on leads by sales and drive campaign attribution of sales opportunities * Oversees and manages the WOSG European field marketing budget * Works with sales to identify suitable accounts for ABM programs * Measures and reports on WOSG European programs and events * Responsible for thetactical implementation of the marketing programs, including: integrated marketing campaigns, direct marketing, eMarketing, advertising, sales support, in alignment with Portfolio Marketing, Customer Marketing and Demand Strategy * Ensures fast, clear communication of all relevant marketing activities and tools to relevant stakeholders, and collects regular feedback * Assists in the creation of new ideas/approaches to effectively enhance the communication of key messages * Works collaboratively with the other regional marketing leads to develop best practices across all marketing channels Background and experience * 4-7 years in B2B marketing * 2+ years in field marketing * 2+ years' experience working within the Scientific & Academic Research sector * Proven experience working with sales teams and supporting programs to drive awareness and sales; actual sales experience highly desirable * Experience in Event Planning * Experience in Marketing Campaign Planning * Experience in Budget Management * Marketing Team Management in a B2B environment * Experience in working in a matrix organization * Ability to demonstrate track record of success in all key areas of responsibility * Inbound marketing strategy/execution experience Education * Bachelor level degree or professio
