Our client is a niche, global business with offices within the Staffordshire area, they offer exciting opportunities within their company structure and the Sales Engineer role is an involved position holding responsibility; there is great training, room for progression and the opportunity for worldwide travel. Our client is looking to expand their current Sales Engineers team. Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and competent Sales Engineer to work within the Chemical Engineering sector. The role of Sales Engineer will include: * Developing business and key relationships directly with customers and a network of agents * Negotiating sales deals, quotations and pricing * Take projects from initial concept through to complete proposal process * Securing high value capital process plant equipment sales in to key markets globally * Travel internationally to create sales opportunities and attend industry trade shows and exhibitions It would be good to see candidates with: * Have a project led sales approach and ability to manage long lead times * An engineering background, an offshore or process package plant background * A Chemical Engineering qualification * Proven track record in sales * Commercially astute * Tenacious * Project work experience * Excellent customer and stakeholder communication ability Hours: Monday to Friday Salary: Negotiable plus car allowance and expenses - please call the office on 01782 976976 for further details Brampton Recruitment are an independent Commercial and Accounts & Finance recruitment agency working in partnership with employers spanning Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, Cheshire, and the Greater Manchester region.
