Role Type Central Support Country England Address / location of vacancy Healthcare Service Centre, Whittle Road, Meir Park, Stoke-on-Trent, ST3 7UN Full / Part Time Full Time Contract type Permanent Hours 37.5 Hours Per Week Job description Job Title: Telesales Team Leader Salary: Competitive Contract: Permanent Work Pattern: 37.5 Hours Per Week Location: Meir Park, Stoke-on-Trent You will be responsible for managing, motivating and inspiring a team of desk-based telesales colleagues, to deliver sales revenue & margin for Medhub. The role will be focussed on driving sales behaviours, improving team efficiency and effectiveness while delivering high growth in the customer base. You will work with the commercial buying team and HoT to build daily and weekly product offers and be able to monitor success and compliance rates within the team. You will be required to hold regular scheduled 1-2-1s with each team member to review and manage individual performance against department KPI's and the pertinent IKO's with each individual. What you'll do * Has overall accountability for achieving a team target of c3m per quarter via proactive management of an overall base of c500 accounts * Develop & implement the daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly sales plans with the associated sales performance KPIs focussed on sales, margin, basket spend, offer compliance, supporting account % and new account acquisition. * To achieve sales numbers through the setting of stretching targets/objectives/incentive plans, job standard KPIs including call stats. * Work closely with the commercial buying team to build market leading offers and then manage performance of the proposition * Understand customer segmentation and ensure team structure is fit for purpose in relation to right colleague for the right customer * To drive the customer/partner relationships and satisfaction at the appropriate levels/functions within the Company. * To coach and monitor team and individual performance, set team and individual targets, monitor attendance, deal with people management issues and manage the team career and succession plan. * Also design and implement local incentive programmes, allocating budget and resource against outcome (with HoT). * Understanding of the what and the how, ensuring a positive atmosphere while driving the team to deliver on all fronts. * The role will have a Customer base and the time will be split 60/40 * To act as a role model and drive improvements both from a customer and team perspective at all times. Problem Solving & Change * Analysing route causes or barriers to delivering the sales plan & target. * Good grasp of sales efficiency & effectiveness principals * Managing & dealing with challenging customers and barriers * Creative by nature, engaging and charismatic * Gamification understanding and experience Key knowledge and skills required for the role * Significant experience within a telesales or desk-based sales role (acquisition sales) * Understanding of sales planning and managing the sales process in a telesales environment. * Good knowledge of pharmacy wholesale industry is preferable but not essential * Able to interpret data and form plans from findings * Good experience working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) * Competent to stand up to audiences and motivate the team, driving behaviours * Conducting challenging sales performance conversations.
