Job Description
Project Design Engineer Norwich £30,000 - £35,000 This Engineering Company specialise in the design & manufacture of Special Purpose Machinery and has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Project Engineer to join their dynamic team to support current & future growth. Based within the Commercial Support team, you ll be working closely with several parts of the business, with the ultimate goal of providing their customers with the best engineered solution possible. The company are part of a much larger group of companies, and this role will ensure their products are successfully integrated into a single offering. Responsibilities * Provide a technical and communicative portal for appropriate multi brand projects, ensuring timely and accurate sharing of information and feedback. * Support/represent the brands on customer facing meetings, dealing with all levels of international customer contacts. * Undertake calculations for design work, both on contracts and development projects. * Provide technical support to both external and internal stakeholders in terms of project documentation, 2D & 3D draughting, planning etc. * Review effectiveness & benefits of the completed project integration to aid future sales. Requirements * SolidWorks 3D & DraftSight 2D CAD experience * MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook. * Collaborative, team building skills. * Excellent communication and presentation ability. * Self-motivated with the confidence to make decisions You can be rest assured that this job is certainly going to engage your creative side and passion for Engineering, learning off other bright dynamic individuals, working with cool technology on a number of different projects that will stretch your abilities and really challenge your engineering mind.
