We are recruiting Bank Health Visitors for flexible working in our Children & Families Division within Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (BCHC) Children and Families Division have approved a temporary uplift in Health Visitor Bank Pay for all Health Visitors working Bank Health Visiting shifts in their division. This means that all Health Visitors working on the bank will receive the top of the Bank pay scale 6 for their shifts. Bank Health Visitors will be paid 19.06 per hour (21.36 per hour inclusive of WTD) until further notice. Enhancements will also be paid for any unsocial hours worked during this time. A variety of shifts are available, including Evenings and Weekends.The Health Visiting service is offered City Wide, but areas of highest need will be: * Hodge Hill * Edgbaston * Quinton * Ladywood * Yardley * Sparkbrook * Erdington * Northfield **Candidates should be aware that if shortlisted, a robust interview process will be undertaken for these posts and as such are asked to arrive at interview well informed and prepared BCHC delivers healthcare services across numerous sites and specialties. Birmingham Early Years Services are on an exciting journey following a successful tender to provide an integrated approach in delivering Health Visiting and Children's Centre services as part of the early years offer as Birmingham Forward Steps. The service has corporate membership of the Institute of Health Visiting thus enabling access to the latest developments and research within Health Visiting to support innovative and evolving practice. We are seeking to increase the of Health Visitors working across Birmingham, to provide the 5 mandated Healthy Child Program contacts and work as part of an integrated model. Candidates must be experienced, highly motivated and innovative whilst having a desire to achieve our service vision 'To give every child in Birmingham an equal chance to have the best start in life so they can achieve their full potential' The service provides a learning environment, supporting students and newly qualified staff, SLAiP or equivalent is desirable. The successful candidate will be a flexible team player and role model, demonstrating willingness to work in integrated model, as part of our commitment to modernise the service in keeping with Early Intervention and Prevention agenda's. The post holder must be a Registered First Level Nurse/Midwife with a Health Visitor Certificate/Diploma/Degree with evidence of recent professional development. This post requires completion of a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) form. Due to recent changes in law, the DBS operate a system of 'Single Certification' whereby only a copy of the certificate/disclosure is issued to candidates and not to BCHC as the employer.
