Job Description

: ***Must have an active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance*** The purpose of this position is to plan, schedule and perform electrical activities for assigned scope and area in conformance with plans, specifications, and other technical documents. This position has a good working knowledge and background of assigned work, appreciates and resolves situations with assistance, and sees actions as a series of steps. This position has typically mastered the craft(s) involved and / or is specifically qualified in a subject, method, or application directly related to the work being performed. This position is typically a well-experienced craftsman or is otherwise specifically qualified in a particular function(s). Perform installation, removal, termination and testing of electrical infrastructure related to computer room raised-floor equipment Perform a variety of electrical trade functions such as the installation, maintenance, or repair of equipment for the distribution, or utilization of electrical energy Work involves the following: Installation or repair any of a variety of electrical equipment, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, or conduit systems. Standard computations relating to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment. Using a variety of electricians' hand tools and measuring and testing instruments Support the work activities of assigned craftsmen in alignment with available engineering deliverables, tools, construction equipment, and materials Inform supervisor of work progress; including required construction equipment, tools, and consumables needed to complete the work Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines Organize and prioritize a variety of projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet deadlines Adhere to and support Fluor's Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies Represent the organization in providing solutions to technical issues associated with specific projects Complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories and concepts Manage small scale projects Create material takeoff schedules and order materials Participate in planning for site wide maintenance events Manage team's participation in site wide maintenance events Develop and review Standard Operating Procedures Complete all required work and safety permits/policies Plan and schedule work Provide mission assurance guidance to multiple customers Other duties as assigned Job ID: 119593BR City: Harrogate State: North Yorkshire Country: United Kingdom We reserve the right to modify or revise the job descriptions in part or in its entirety.
