Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (BCHC) have an exciting new opportunity for an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to become part of an exciting Multi-Disciplinary Team within the Adults and Specialist Rehabilitation Division. The role via the Trust Bank is to help clinically lead the Early Intervention/ Rapid Response Team and to develop the service. The post holder will be expected to assess and review patients using the full range of advanced practice skills to ensure an optimum outcome for patients, with support from the designated consultants. As an Advanced Clinical Practitioner, the post holder will be expected to support the clinical leadership and to be a role model and mentor to other clinical staff. You will be required to be a non-medical prescriber as well as to respond to deteriorating patients, providing high quality clinical assessment and treatment intervention. The post will be based at our Rapid Response/Early Intervention Team based at The Norman Power Centre in Birmingham. We are currently looking to recruit a dynamic, enthusiastic, innovative, forward thinking and flexible ACP who will join the Multidisciplinary Team to assist in the prevention of avoidable acute hospital, in line with the overall objectives of the service. The post holder will be expected to work multi professionally, support other team member's roles and contribute to the future development of the Team. As a Senior Clinician you will be able to demonstrate good leadership skills and the ability to independently make sound clinical and leadership judgements. You will regularly supervise junior colleagues.
