We are looking for a dynamic leader to manage the existing team, as well as adding new members to our already successful group. This person will be responsible for driving customer satisfaction, portfolio awareness, and ultimately driving revenue growth within the existing customer base. When required, the individual will provide executive customer facing support, driving deals alongside the team. The individual will be experienced in mobilizing channel partners to accelerate scale and growth. **Your day-to-day** + Lead and motivate a team of Account Managers to drive revenue growth through a positive, high-touch customer experience + Connect Account Managers to key resources and clear roadblocks, enabling them to achieve and/or exceed their revenue goals + Developing sales strategies to sell more into existing accounts + Maintain a positive culture that inspires performance and achievement + Drive adoption and best practice use of internal tools and processes + Instill and maintain a quality and integrity based sales process with respect to customer interactions + Actively engage, attract and secure top talent + Provide training and ongoing coaching and development to Account Managers + Develop and execute a thorough business plan, including planning for both current and future quarter success + Prepare and present team forecast of your team to your manager + Maintain internal partnerships with various business units including Sales Engineering and Marketing + Become a perpetual student of Proofpoint products, and the everchanging Cyber Security industry **What you bring to the team** + Experience of leading high performing inside sales teams highly desirable. + Must have prior quota carrying sales experience, preferably in security or IT related technology + Leadership experience, with a focus on training, coaching and motivation + Expert knowledge of the full sales cycle, from prospecting, cold calling through to negotiation and closing + Knowledge of AddOn sales + Experience in solution sales environment, and ideally training/experience in a specific sales methodology such as the Challenger Sale, SPIN Selling + Ability to function in "Player/Coach" role and assist account executives closing deals + Ability to provide situational coaching and advice and help guide deals to closure + Background selling Security or SaaS products is a plus + Technical aptitude, and ability to learn new concepts quickly + Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar + Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required \#LI-SN2 _If you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!_ At Proofpoint, we have a passion for protecting people, data, and brands from today's advanced threats and compliance risks.
