This Sales Technical Account Manager (STAM) is a Technical Clinical Advisor role that is responsible for reviewing inbound and outbound customer leads to drive digital transformation solutions across IQVIA's Orchestrated Clinical Trials Platform. In this role, the STAM is reviewing customer requirements with the guidance and support needed throughout the full life cycle of implementation to ensure successful and most effective use of. In addition, this position will be a leader in ensuring overall customer satisfaction with IQVIA's products and related implementation services. The STAM will act as the primary liaison between IQVIA, the customer, and the RDS architect teams with respect to the implementation. He/she will serve as IQVIA's support/services lead to the customer and provide business process, application functionality, technology, and implementation expertise by delivering a combination of business specifications analysis, technical consulting and project management skills. This STAM will provide customers with regular assessments on the domains of strategy, process, governance, people and technology accompanied by recommendations for improvement in each area. The STAM is responsible for escalating issues across multiple business units within IQVIA's (e.g. Sales, RDS, Consulting, Commercial Sales, Product Development, etc.) and arranging resources as necessary to resolve problems. Will be a leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. The STAM. will balance business and partner needs with technical constraints, develop innovative, cutting edge solutions and act as a partner and consultant to those you are working with. You will also build tools and automate products, oversee the technical execution and business operations of IQVIA's partnerships, Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. **Requirements** + Demonstrated success of at least 4 years as a Sales Technical Account Manager or similar role for SaaS software vendors, including involvement in at least 5 successful customer deployments - Must. + Demonstrated success in Customer Success, Customer Support or Professional Services function for a product / SaaS vendor with enterprise customers + Recommended 7-10 years of professional Information Systems implementation experience. + Demonstrated experience in package systems implementation (CRM, ERP, Consulting experiences). + Understanding of various technical architectures and operating systems including web-based applications, networks, (SalesForce, Oracle), etc. + Project Management (PMP) certification or extensive Project Management experience across global and diverse organizations. + Industry experience is desired. **What We Are Looking For** + Strong desire to tackle hard technical problems and proven ability do so with little or no direct daily supervision + Ability to learn new technology quickly, as well as a strong interest in doing so! + Excellent communication skills and an ability to concisely explain tricky issues and complex solutions + Experience with Java Virtual Machine (JVM) tuning and troubleshooting + Experience with operating Linux, you know how to configure, tune and troubleshoot both RedHat & Debian based distributions + Exceptional interpersonal communications capabilities demonstrated through a history of successful B2B infrastructure software development projects + Project management experience, as you'll need to be able to coordinate across various Confluent teams to ensure success for your accounts + Bachelor's level degree in Computer Science or an engineering, mathematics, or another quantitative field + Ability to thrive in ambiguity in a fast-paced, deadline oriented startup environment + Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail and deliver results across multiple initiatives such as driving expansion, customer satisfaction, feature adoption, and retention + Ability to travel up to 25% of the time to meet with your accounts + Previous experience helping customers build solutions that use Apache Kafka alongside Hadoop, relational and NoSQL databases, message queues, and related products (plus) + Prior experience working for a technology startup (plus) + Proficiency in Java (plus) _Join Us_ Making a positive impact on human health takes insight, curiosity, and intellectual courage.
