Job Description
Our Client, in Windsor, Berkshire is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor , working 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday and paying up to £38,500 per annum. JOB DUTIES The Maintenance Supervisor job will involve the following: Looking after the maintenance engineering team, responsible for all day to day maintenance activities on site including ppms, reactive works and any projects. Attending regular meetings, compiling & submitting reports, supervision of department staff & management of all sub-contractors. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations & involved with performing the safety inspections. Involved in HR related items for the department, purchasing, stock control & responsibility for the sub-contractor performance. Monitoring of the BMS System, ensuring that maintenance logs are updated & KPI levels are achieved. Supervising the maintenance of plant, engineering, fm & all M&E equipment, BMS controls, fire safety systems, Hot & cold water supply, and the interior and exterior of the building. JOB REQUIREMENTS For the Maintenance Supervisor job you will ideally have: Previous experience in a similar role of Maintenance Engineer or Maintenance Supervisor within a role that you were managing the maintenance of a commercial building or hotel. Ideally be a trade qualified Electrician, Plumber or have an HVAC trade or equivalent. Excellent knowledge of building maintenance & engineering including electrics, plumbing systems and fire safety systems. Have some experience in a job role managing staff & subcontractors. Well presented with good communication skills & have the ability to communicate well with people from all walks of life, have good IT Skills & ensure attention to detail at all times. Have a good knowledge & understanding of health and safety regulations. Some project management experience would be a plus. Effective organisational skills, strong leadership skills with the ability to think on your feet & manage and motivate staff. JOB LOCATION The Maintenance Supervisor job will be based near to Windsor, Berkshire SL4 1QY. JOB OFFER The Maintenance Supervisor job will be paying up to £38,500 per annum Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm Some weekend work may be required.
