United Kingdom - Lanarkshire, Glasgow Job Summary Our Strategic Asset Management team consists of senior professionals who work with our clients to identify improvements in their existing Asset Management arrangements to deliver real benefits that improve business performance. Our approach is based on implementing the principles of ISO 55001, the recognised international standard for Asset Management. AECOM are endorsed by the Institute of Asset Management (IAM) to undertake gap analysis against the standard and to deliver training. We are looking to hire an Associate to join the team. The successful candidate will: + Advise clients on how to obtain maximum value from their asset base + Be fully familiar with the asset lifecycle and the optimum point to intervene to add maximum value + Have excellent interpersonal skills + Have excellent report writing skills + Act on their own initiative with minimal supervision Minimum Requirements + Experience within an Asset Management function + Experience of reviewing complexorganisations Asset Management arrangements and developing improvement plans + Background in a relevant technical disciplinesuch mechanical, electrical or civil engineering, building surveying or architecture Preferably experience of ISO 55001 and undertaking gap analysis against the standard. Preferred Qualifications + Degree in relevant technical discipline and chartered membership of professionalorganisation. Preferably holds the Institute of Asset Management Certificate qualification.
