Job Description

They are now looking for a Paraplanner who is looking to step up to being an Adviser. This is a development role with the view to becoming an adviser to an existing client bank within 18 months to two years. You will also be required to reach chartered status in this time. Detailed List of Responsibilities Attending client meetings with Financial Planner as required. Supporting the Financial Planner in research and analysis to meet Client needs and objectives. Supporting the Financial Planner in preparing Client financial plans and suitability reports. Developing and maintaining internal relationships to help maintain business flow and meet agreed targets. Research and analysis of financial products to meet Client requirements. Contribute towards the research as a member of the Investment Committee. Managing the presentation of technical data to the Financial Planner. Managing the preparation of Client Financial Plans and Suitability Reports. FCA related and other regulatory issues. Promoting the profile of the business within the profession and wider communities. Continuous professional development to meet regulatory requirements and personal development needs. Ensuring that any business conducted is done in a responsible and compliant manner, meeting all legislative requirements, both internally and externally. Preparing and maintaining the client file. Preparing recommendations and implementing recommendations. Assisting other paraplanner team members where required. Miscellaneous Adhere to all Financial Planning policies and procedures, including Health and Safety. Carry out any other reasonable duties as delegated by an authorised person of the firm.
