Trainee Paraplanner - London - c£35,000 This is an excellent opportunity for someone is looking for a company that can help them develop their career as a Paraplanner. A driven and professional candidate is required to join financial planning company in London. The company will put you through qualifications and exams to help you become a fully qualified paraplanner.The duties would be as follows- - Fully analyse clients requirements and accurately record client data.- Research and analyse financial products to meet Client requirements.- Prepare suitability letters and reports and updating client files.- Deal with general client queries and attend client meetings with the Partner as required.- Ensure any business conducted is done in a compliant manner, meeting all legislative requirements. The successful candidate would have previously written Pension Transfer reports. Duties include: Administer the submission of applications to platform & product providers and monitor relevant systems to ensure accuracy and/or acceptance Produce client suitability reports for personalising and sign off by adviser To have written suitability reports for pension switches especially - necessary Review and administer business pipeline to ensure relevant actions are taken Knowledge and Experience required Previous experience working in an IFA Obtained or working towards industry qualifications Prior-knowledge of intrinsic paperwork system - not essential, training can be provided if required Prior-knowledge of Old Mutual Wealth/ARC platform You will be required to use standard applications to process, obtain and combine information - Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook. Be able to complete some routine and non-routine tasks in an office environment Knowledge within Financial Services and the industry Strong attention to detail Ability to manage own time effectively There will be an opportunity within this role to progress for the right candidate.
