Overview
I’m working with a leading Accountancy and Audit business who are looking to identify an External Auditor. Responsibilities: Manage a portfolio of clients providing audit and business advice. Lead on engagements, conducting audits and documenting key-risk areas. Perform tests of internal controls to ensure effectiveness. Prepare and present management reports on audit findings. Understand clients’ needs and liaise with wider business areas where appropriate to develop stronger business relationships. Essential: Proven External Audit & assurance experience. Lead/Managed projects or assignments. Must be qualified: ACA, ACCA, CA (ICAS, ICAEW or equivalent) Ideal: Non-financial services Audit experience such as manufacturing, engineering, shipping, logistics etc. Location: Newcastle Salary: £30,000-£39,000 Duration: Permanent
