The Company · Very well established, award-winning multi-disciplinary consultancy with a global presence · Market leaders in building services with a global client base · Over 200 members of staff worldwide with an expanding Orpington office · They are a specialist in commercial builds, residential, retail, mixed-use, education and healthcare projects Key Responsibilities · The Junior Mechanical Design Engineer will be assisting with several projects and communicating with the building services design team, ensuring projects meet expectations within the set deadline · They will be working towards leading design development and calculations on high value projects but working closely with senior staff · Creating technical drawings in accordance with client briefs using programmes such as Hevacomp · Responsible for undertaking mechanical services design including Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Skills and Background · Graduate 6 months’ experience in Building Services (MEP) background either within a Consultancy or Contractor. · Degree qualified or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services · Knowledge of UK Standards and Specifications. · Good working knowledge of AutoCAD, Hevacomp and IES · Experience of working on commercial and residential projects would be advantageous If you are a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer within the Building Services industry and are interested in securing a long-term role with a very well-established Multi-disciplinary Design Consultancy that have a clear career progression for their Junior Engineers, then please contact Charley Burgess at Aylin White on 0203 056 1950.
