Overview
My leading global financial services firm are looking to bring on a Portfolio PMO Manager to join their enterprise PMO function. Candidates should have: Extensive financial services experience within a heavily regulated environment. Strong knowledge of project / program management concepts and the ability to pragmatically apply to maximize outcomes Accredited with a globally recognized project methodologies e.g. PMP, Six Sigma Pro-efficiency with MS Project, MS Office & Visio Portfolio level experience on financial management, scope control & RAID metrics. International experience of managing deliverables, relationships between different time-zones and business functions Strong analytical skills to be able to interpret and synthesize complex business and technical environments to scope and control project work which aggregates at portfolio level Conduct stage gate reviews and other epmo check points as part of project framework. Ability to identify and correlate dependencies between projects and plans Excellent senior stakeholder engagement skills (will be regularly consulting with delivery partners and stakeholders on performance and strategy). Demonstrates a practical mind-set, exposure to agile and iterative delivery approaches, great relationship management and collaborative skills Degree or equivalent level education and/or professional project management qualification e.g. Prince 2, PMI, Six Sigma Excellent proficiency with MS Office suite and proficient with SharePoint.
