Overview

A warm and welcoming 26 bed residential home in the NR9 area are looking for a day Senior Care Assistant to join their team You must have an NVQ Level 3 with a minimum of 12 months experience working within the care sector. As a senior care assistant within the home you will be required to help with the following - Manage and assistant care assistants throughout their day and ensure tasks are completed - Deliver personal care and treat the residents with complete dignity and respect - Administer and order medication as per the homes policy and protocol - Assist and liaise with professional bodies i.e. doctors and district nurses - Ensure the safety of residents at all times and report/document any issues to the home manager - Asses and complete care plans for the residents and to also ensure these are kept up to date and are in line with the home and CQC standards - Participate in all staff meetings and ensure all mandatory training is kept up to date Although required to complete the above tasks and ensure a smooth running of the home, your responsibilities also include respecting the rights of all the residents and ensuring each residents needs are met and to help give them the best quality of life If you are interested in the above position then please apply via the job advert or call Laura Waterfield on or send your CV to Skills Required 12 months care experience Qualifications Required NVQ LEVEL 3
