Sous Chef – High End Events Caterer – London 40k Role: Sous Chef Location: SE London Salary: £35k basic Plus weekend overtime and Company bonuses circa 5k PA Sector: High End Modern Events My client is a high-end event caterer and has a naturally flamboyant style and is absolutely cutting edge. Everything they work on from the first Amuse bouche to the final petit four will be pushing the boundaries of event catering Their client portfolio continues to grow and appeal to people who are daring and contemporary in their approach to entertaining and wowing their clients. As Sous Chef , you would work closely with the Head Chef working predominately Monday to Friday, with some evenings and weekends when required. This is an opportunity to work with exciting contemporary menus in a quality kitchen with a friendly but focussed team The Ideal candidate: Craft Trained and qualified Able to work well in a team Proud of what you produce Excellent time management and organisational skills Cope well with volume and pressure Must have experience in high end Events/production kitchens Strong foodie background with stable experience Mostly Mon to Friday with some evenings and O/T paid at weekends Part of a core team of 5 full time chefs but managing larger teams of up to 10 freelance chefs depending on business levels Mature approach.
