Job Role: Project/Design Engineer Job Type: Contract Duration: 3 Months Industry: Manufacturing Rate: Negotiable Location: Hertfordshire Profile Our client is an established manufacturer of pumping solutions to clients throughout the globe. They are currently looking for a Contract Project/Design Engineer to help them through a busy period. Candidates will have the opportunity to work in a fit for purpose and state of the art facility. Duties -Provide technical support to the manufacturing team. -Maintain product documentation required for product manufacturing, including bills of materials and engineering drawings. -Preparation of ECR/ECN package based upon sustaining changes. -Validation of alternate components, materials, processes and/or suppliers. -Perform cost reduction by process improvements, material and/or supplier substitution, part reduction or elimination.
